The following pieces are part of the art-journaling practice that I began in 2004 and have continued in various ways since. Making art in the less-precious space of a journal has offered me a place to use art as somatic expression, to learn to play, experiment, and speak in privacy. Art-journaling is an improvisational practice and an act of self-exploration.
I teach Art-Journaling through the Smithsonian, and have an upcoming class this spring in DC. Sign up here! Get on the waitlist for an online art-journaling class for you to drop into from home.
